Business Development Manager £40,000 - £45,000 basic salary £6,000 car allowance £6,000 bonus (15% of salary) M62 corridor territory The Company Our client is a well-established business, part of a large group who, among other things, provide lifting and handling equipment for hire and purchase. You will be joining a friendly and welcoming team who are highly experienced and professional to provide ongoing support in the day to day for your learning and development, as well as prompt help for you to carry out your role. The Role This new position will report into the Commercial Director, driving the external direct sales with tier 1 contractors across the M62 corridor. You will primarily sell equipment hire services across the M62 corridor to proactively increase the revenue of the territory. They have an existing customer base for you to build on as well as developing your own new business. The Person You will be autonomous, managing your own diary, so a proven track record in a similar role will be needed, such as Area Sales Manager, Territory Sales Executive, Business Development Manager, Field Sales Engineer etc. Experience selling into trade, especially tier 1 contractors, is essential. Experience in the hire market advantageous.
