About The Role
Be part of the "once in a generation" project that will deliver clean energy to 6 million homes for the next 60 years. Sizewell C will create a 3.2 Gigawatt nuclear power station on the Suffolk coast to provide reliable low‑carbon electricity.
What you’ll be doing
* Design, plan, procure and execute early civil works scope, including Earthworks trials phase monitoring for soil behaviour.
* Conduct on‑site testing, assess various earthworks backfilling operations, and manage placing and compaction methods.
* Maintain site records and daily diary.
Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications & Experience
Essential
* Able to clearly communicate the requirements of a safe system of work to ensure they are followed.
* Ability to work across conflicting interest groups to develop solutions to complex operational and commercial problems.
* Knowledge of project management methodology.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Availability for 42 hours per week.
Desirable
* Capable of taking ownership of tasks and communicating outcomes.
* Able to work on own initiative and seek out opportunities in line with the level of responsibility.
* People‑management experience and relationship‑management skills.
* Commercial awareness with knowledge of both budgetary and financial control.
Qualifications & Experience
* HNC/HND/Degree in a relevant discipline and/or relevant site experience within the construction industry.
* CSCS card.
