Account Manager Logistics & Courier Services
London (SE1) – Hybrid Working – Salary dependent on experience
An established, fast-growing London-based logistics and courier business is seeking a proactive and commercially aware Account Manager to take ownership of a portfolio of key client accounts.
This is a fast‑paced, client‑facing role focused on relationship management, performance monitoring, commercial growth, and operational coordination. You will act as the primary point of contact for your allocated clients, ensuring service delivery consistently meets and exceeds expectations.
Hybrid working is available, with a minimum of three days per week in the London office and/or attending client meetings.
Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management
* Act as the main point of contact for a portfolio of client accounts
* Build and maintain strong, long‑term relationships
* Conduct regular performance reviews and service meetings
Service Delivery & Operational Coordination
* Work closely with internal operations teams to ensure seamless logistics delivery
* Monitor KPIs including service levels, transport performance, and cost efficiency
* Troubleshoot and resolve day‑to‑day service issues
Commercial & Growth
* Identify opportunities to upsell services and grow account revenue
* Prepare proposals, quotations, and rate reviews
* Support contract renewals and commercial negotiations
Data & Reporting
* Analyse customer data to identify trends and service improvements
* Prepare performance reports and quarterly business reviews
* Maintain accurate CRM records
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
* Work with operations, finance, customer service, and senior leadership
* Support onboarding of new clients and service launches
About You
* Experience within logistics, transport, supply chain, or a related service industry
* Strong relationship‑building and communication skills
* Commercially aware with the ability to identify growth opportunities
* Comfortable analysing data and producing reports
* Highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities
* Calm under pressure with a solution‑focused mindset
