Job Purpose
The Content & Campaigns Manager will play a key role in raising the profile of EMA Training through high-quality, engaging and strategically focused marketing content. Working closely with the Marketing Director, this role will lead on content creation across digital and print channels, take the lead on campaign planning, manage content scheduling, and help deliver marketing activity that supports employer engagement and brand awareness.
This role will be heavily weighted towards content creation and will suit someone who is creative, proactive, highly organised, innovative and confident representing EMA Training externally across the East Midlands.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation
* Create high-quality, engaging content for EMA Training across digital platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube.
* Produce a wide range of content formats including photos, short-form video, interviews, reels, graphics, blogs, articles, newsletters, website copy, e-shots and captions.
* Lead on video-based content creation, including filming and editing interviews, learner stories, employer features and promotional content.
* Develop organic marketing campaigns driven by strong, audience-focused content.
Campaign Planning and Idea Generation
* Work closely with the Marketing Director to develop content ideas and campaign concepts aligned to EMA Training’s strategic priorities and KPI’s.
* Suggest creative content angles, campaign themes and new approaches based on market trends, audience behaviour, sector opportunities and seasonal moments.
* Translate campaign objectives into practical multi-channel content plans and deliverables.
* Contribute ideas that support employer engagement, learner recruitment, apprenticeship awareness and wider brand visibility.
Content Planning and Scheduling
* Plan and manage a content calendar across key channels and campaigns.
* Schedule and publish social content using relevant scheduling tools.
* Coordinate content around campaigns, events, awareness weeks and key business priorities.
* Ensure content is delivered at the right time, through the right channel, for the right audience.
Design and Marketing Literature
* Create and design branded marketing materials for relevant target audiences, including brochures, promotional literature, campaign assets, flyers, posters and other supporting materials.
* Develop content and design for employer-facing and learner-facing literature for both digital and print use.
* Ensure all materials are on brand, visually engaging and aligned to EMA Training’s tone of voice and messaging.
Performance and Collaboration
* Monitor content engagement and provide feedback on what is performing well and where improvements can be made.
* Use insight and audience response to refine future content and campaign activity.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues across EMA Training to identify stories, case studies, achievements and opportunities to promote the organisation.
* Support wider marketing activity as required and contribute to the overall success of the department.
Brand Representation and Networking (Responsibilities)
* Represent EMA Training professionally at events, networking opportunities and activities across the East Midlands.
* Build strong relationships internally and externally to identify content opportunities and raise EMA’s brand profile.
* Act as a visible and positive ambassador for EMA Training, including through professional engagement on LinkedIn.
Qualifications
* Experience in a senior marketing, content/campaign-focused role.
* Strong content creation skills across social media, copywriting, photography and videography.
* A passion for storytelling and an ability to write high-quality content for different audiences and formats.
* Strong design skills and experience producing marketing literature and campaign materials using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or similar design/editing tools.
* Experience of analysing performance data, reporting on data and using the outcome of data to inform campaign decisions.
* Experience managing YouTube or video-first content channels and websites.
* A super keen eye for detail and an excellent proof-reader.
* Ability to generate ideas and translate strategy into engaging content.
* Confident working closely with senior stakeholders.
* Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.
* Strong interpersonal skills and confidence attending external events and representing the organisation.
* Full driving licence and willingness to travel across the East Midlands.
