GTC, part of the BUUK Infrastructure Group, are looking for Asset Management Support (12 Months Fixed Term) who would like to help us reach our mission to earn customer loyalty and drive business growth by providing consistently excellent service.
Purpose of this role
To deliver a high level of support to the Asset Management Team to maintain our electrical assets and to ensure the team remains compliant with our policies and standards.
Your key responsibilities are
Deliver effective communication using various methods to external and internal departments for Electrical Maintenance and Repairs to maintain customer/working relationships.
Maintain and develop the electrical asset management database.
Analyse and input data and raise any health and safety issues to ensure we remain within policies and standards and for the effective upkeep of our electrical assets.
To process dataflows, invoices, handover packs and remedial work purchase orders to meet obligations to ensure payments are made within timescales.
Assist the Team Leader with reporting and any issues that may arise to meet current monthly reporting requirements and smooth running of the team.
To provide support to the Electricity Directorate management team with the preparation of month end reports and other key documents.
To provide support to the Asset Design support Team when required for holiday cover.
Any other duties as required by the Manager.
Qualifications
GCSE in core subjects (incl. English and Mathematics).
Experience/Knowledge
Proven track record of being able to prioritise workload effectively & efficiently.
Communication with external and internal customers/colleagues.
Experience with Data Entry.
Abilities/Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
High telephone contact aspect and consistent telephone manner.
High degree of accuracy.
Desirable
NVQ Business Administration.
Knowledge of the utility industry.
Ability to use Microsoft Office programmes or equivalent.
Conditions of Employment
You will be required to participate in a standby rota.
