DevOps & Software Manager (Azure/PHP) – Remote - £100,000-£120,0000 + bonus 🚀
We’re exclusively partnered with a market-leading mortgage technology platform company, who last year released their flagship product which has resulted in them winning awards and becoming the most successful solution on the market.
With major platform expansion, increased user adoption and migration, and new product innovation in AI underway, they’re entering a new phase of growth and this role plays a key pillar in their development teams.
This is an environment where impact is immediate, you’ll work closely with the director of development while leading a team of 6 made up of 3 PHP developers & 3 DevOps Engineers to lead and take ownership of DevOps strategy and direction, lead cloud native infrastructure at scale and influence how modern fintech platforms evolve
What you’ll be doing:
* Leading and mentoring DevOps and Development teams (team size 6, growing)
* Owning CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and operational reliability
* Driving automation, scalability, performance, and cost optimisation
* Partnering closely with engineers to deliver cloud-native solutions
Requirements:
* Strong commercial PHP experience (essential)
* Strong experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud-native architectures
* Proven experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices
* Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / ARM)
* Proficient with Git and version control workflows
* Experience with Docker and Kubernetes (AKS desirable)
* Strong scripting skills (PowerShell / Bash)
* Experience leading/managing a team
