Registered Nurse at Orchard Care Homes
Location: Castleford Lodge Care Home – Oxford Street, Castleford, West Yorkshire, WF10 5DF
Salary: £22.28 per hour
Schedule: Bank hours
What You'll Be Doing
* Creating and maintaining person‑centred care plans
* Administering medication safely and accurately
* Supporting residents with personal care and daily routines
* Liaising with external professionals, families, and multidisciplinary teams
* Leading and mentoring care staff to uphold best practices
* Ensuring compliance with clinical governance and regulatory standards
* Participating in audits, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives
We’re Seeking Someone Who Is
* Experienced in elderly care or nursing home settings
* Holding a current NMC registration (essential)
* Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of care planning
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* A caring, professional, and patient approach
* Ability to lead, support, and develop a team
