An established and inclusive school in the heart of Portsmouth is seeking a Music Teacher to join their committed team. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity beginning in September 2025.
The Music Department is central to school life, offering vibrant curriculum teaching, regular concerts, and annual musical productions. Facilities include two music suites with digital workstations, several practice rooms, and a performance hall equipped with professional sound and lighting.
The successful candidate will be expected to teach Music across KS3–KS5, direct ensembles, and contribute actively to the school’s cultural programme. This is an exciting opportunity to work with motivated students and passionate colleagues in a creative and forward-thinking environment.
Experience and Qualifications
• Degree in Music or a related field with QTS
• Experience teaching Music to KS3–KS5
• Proficiency in at least one instrument (piano desirable)
• Strong interest in Music Tech and digital composition
• Right to work in the UK
