Our client, East Midlands Combined County Authority, is currently seeking an Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (EVI) Specialist to join their team in the East Midlands. This is a key role, focusing on developing and delivering electric vehicle infrastructure strategies to aid the transition to a sustainable, low-carbon transport system. Key Responsibilities: Lead the development and delivery of EV infrastructure programmes, including public charging networks and fleet electrification Act as the technical lead on electric vehicle infrastructure and associated technologies Develop and implement strategies aligned with the Mayor's Transport Plan and regional objectives Manage procurement and commissioning processes, including oversight of contracts and supplier performance Lead complex negotiations with partners and suppliers to secure effective delivery outcomes Manage project delivery, including budgets, timelines, risks, and performance monitoring Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government departments and private sector partners Lead funding applications and business case development to secure investment for EV infrastructure projects About You: We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional with a strong background in infrastructure delivery, transport planning, or decarbonisation strategies.
