SEN Teaching Assistant – 1:1 Support (Part Time, 3–4 Days) Are you passionate about supporting young people with additional needs to thrive in school? Teaching Personnel are recruiting for a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to work in one of our partner secondary schools on a part-time basis (3–4 days per week). This role is a fantastic opportunity to build meaningful relationships and provide dedicated support to a student who requires extra help with their learning. You’ll be working closely with teachers and support staff to ensure the pupil can fully access lessons and school life. Key Responsibilities: Deliver 1:1 support tailored to the needs of a student with SEND. Assist in the delivery of learning activities, adapting resources where required. Encourage positive behaviour and help develop social and emotional skills. Liaise with teachers, SENCOs and parents to track and celebrate progress. Provide encouragement, patience, and resilience to help the student achieve their potential. We are looking for: Teaching Assistants, Learning Mentors or Support Workers with experience in SEN.
