Project Controls Specialist
Location: Newcastle Upon-Tyne
Hybrid Working: Please note - This role will require you to work from our Newcastle, Cobalt Business Park office 3 days per week.

As a Project Controls Service Specialist, you will:
3. Lead a fast-paced Delivery PMO team working across multiple complex programs of work, reporting directly into Senior Leadership.
4. Support successful delivery as part of the project management office for large scale, high-complexity programmes
5. Use data analytics to uncover actionable insights and inform programme strategy via relevant tools (e.g. Power BI)
6. Own and manage end to end operational and financial data for large projects or programmes of work. Reporting on internal profitability, sales and revenue positions.
7. Work with internal delivery teams to understand status, issues, risks and putting in place mitigation plans
8. Plan, budget creation, management and control using a bespoke suite of programme management tools; including setting up plans, tracking progress, and reporting variances.
9. Liaise with internal Commercial and Financial Management teams to ensure that programme and corporate finances are aligned and that the Programme is delivering to target
10. Manage internal and client stakeholder relationships
11. Responsible for identifying and driving continuous service improvement and process automation
12. Experience leading as part of a project or programme management office (PMO)
13. Adept at managing complex plans and resource profiles over large programmes of work
14. Strong commercial awareness and financial acumen
15. Experience of data analytics and tooling e.g. Power BI
16. Experience in driving process automation and continuous service improvement
17. Exceptional communication skills – including verbal, written, and presenting to groups
18. Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
19. Proven ability to coach and mentor as part of a large team
20. A keen interest in technology
