Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer – Days (Mon–Fri)
Location- Macclesfield
Salary- £37,000 – £40,000 + 6% company pension + overtime + 27 days holiday + bank holidays
About the Role:
A long-established manufacturing business in Macclesfield is seeking an Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer to join their close-knit engineering team. This opening has become available due to the upcoming retirement of a valued team member — a rare opportunity, as everyone in the team has over 10 years of service, which speaks volumes about what it’s like to work here.
You’ll be responsible for maintaining, fault-finding, and repairing manufacturing and production equipment, ensuring the smooth and safe running of plant operations. This is a days-only role, Monday to Friday, offering great work-life balance and long-term stability.
The Role:
Carry out both planned and reactive maintenance on manufacturing equipment
Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults quickly and efficiently
Support process improvements and continuous reliability initiatives
Work safely to company and regulatory standards
You’ll Need:
Electrical bias with strong multi-skilled maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
Recognised electrical qualifications (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or similar)
A positive attitude, good communication skills, and a team-focused approach
What’s on Offer:
Salary: £37,000 – £40,000 DOE
Days: Monday to Friday
Pension: 6% company contribution
Overtime: x1.3 on Saturdays, x2 on Sundays
Holidays: 27 days + 8 bank holidays
