We are currently seeking a Receptionist to join our Reception team at 5 Hertford Street, our beautifully appointed private member's club located in the heart of Mayfair. Our aim is to be a home away from home, in the utmost comfort, where members are looked after by a team who know them by name.
Overview
We are seeking a Receptionist to join the Reception team at 5 Hertford Street, a private member’s club in Mayfair. You will welcome members and their guests, provide courteous and efficient service, and support a high standard of hospitality across front-of-house operations.
Responsibilities
* To welcome members and their guests in a friendly and professional manner.
* Ensure a courteous and efficient service is given to all members and always maintaining the levels of service to the highest standards.
* To answer the telephone, take bookings and deal with general enquiries.
What You Will Do
* Provide a warm, professional welcome to members and guests.
* Manage front-of-house communications and inquiries to ensure smooth operations.
What are we looking for?
* Significant experience in a similar position is essential.
* Experience of working in a busy restaurant is advantageous.
Requirements & Qualifications
* Experience in hospitality or front-of-house roles with a focus on guest service.
* Strong communication and organizational skills; ability to maintain high standards under pressure.
Working Hours
* 9-hour shifts within the operating window of 7:00–3:00.
* Rota: 5 days out of 6 from Monday to Saturday.
* Bank Holidays and the Christmas period off; venues are closed during these times.
Salary & Benefits
* Salary of £36,000 per annum + discretionary service charge.
