Job Title: Steel Erector (IPAF Ticket Required)
Location: Manchester
Contract Type: Contract
Rate: £230-£250 per day
Job Description
We are currently seeking an experienced Steel Erector to join our client's team on a Contract basis. The ideal candidate will hold a valid IPAF ticket and have a strong background in structural steel erection on commercial and/or industrial sites.
Responsibilities
* Erecting and installing structural steel components as per engineering drawings
* Operating powered access equipment (MEWPs) safely and efficiently
* Assisting with bolting, welding prep, and alignment of steel structures
* Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and complies with health & safety regulations
* Working as part of a team to meet project deadlines
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Steel Erector
* Valid IPAF ticket (3a & 3b preferred)
* CSCS card (essential)
* Strong understanding of site health & safety
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
* Own PPE and tools (if required)
