Qualified Secondary Subject Teachers (QTS) - Manchester

Are you a dedicated and Qualified Secondary School Teacher (QTS) looking to make your mark in a vibrant Manchester school?

We are seeking exceptional, subject-specialist teachers to fill immediate and future vacancies across all key departments in Greater Manchester secondary schools and academies. Whether you're an NQT/ECT seeking your first contract or an experienced Head of Department, we have Temp/Supply and Permanent roles waiting.


High-Demand Subjects Include (but are not limited to):

* Core Subjects: Mathematics, English, Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics)
* Humanities: History, Geography, Religious Education (RE)
* Languages: MFL (French, Spanish, German)
* Arts & Technology: Design Technology, Art, Computing/IT, PE


The Teaching Role: Inspire the Next Generation

As a Secondary Subject Teacher, you will be responsible for the full teaching cycle:

* Planning & Delivery: Creating and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) (and Key Stage 5/A-Level where appropriate).
* Assessment: Marking, grading, and providing constructive feedback to monitor student progress and attainment.
* Classroom Management: Maintaining a safe, productive, and disciplined learning environment.
* Pastoral Care: Taking on form tutor responsibilities or providing general pastoral support to promote student well-being and development.


Contract Options: Flexibility vs. Commitment

* Temporary / Daily Supply Teacher: High Pay: Excellent competitive daily rates (Paid to Scale/Above Scale). Flexibility: Complete control over your availability and work schedule. Experience: Ideal for getting a feel for different school environments before committing long-term.
* Permanent / Long-Term Contract: Stability: Guaranteed permanent salary, pension, and school benefits package. What We Need From You (Essential Criteria):

1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent full overseas teaching qualification (ECF/NQTs encouraged to apply).
2. A degree in your chosen subject area or a related field.
3. Proven track record of raising attainment at KS3 and KS4.
4. Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
5. A clear and current Enhanced DBS (or immediate willingness to apply).
