Role Description
This is a remote Bid Writer role where you will develop, write, and submit thorough and compelling funding applications, proposals, and tender documents. Day-to-day responsibilities include researching funding opportunities, creating tailored high-quality bids, and collaborating with stakeholders to gather essential project information. You will ensure timely submission of proposals and adhere to all guidelines provided by potential funders. This role also involves maintaining detailed records of funding applications and reporting related outcomes to relevant teams.
Qualifications
Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail in bid or grant proposal writing
Research and analytical skills to identify funding opportunities and understand funder criteria
Project management and organizational abilities, including the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple applications simultaneously
Effective stakeholder communication and collaboration skills
Experience with fundraising, grant writing, or working in a nonprofit environment is a significant advantage
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with similar tools
Adaptable and capable of working independently in a remote work setting
