Electrical Supervisor
Location: North West
Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 DOE + Van + Benefits
About the Role
As part of the continued development of our M&E delivery structure, TimesGroup Ltd is appointing an experienced Electrical Supervisor to strengthen and support our electrical function across FM, reactive, PPM and project works.
This role has been created to support the next phase of growth and to enhance management structure, standards, and delivery performance across our electrical services. You'll work closely with senior management and existing teams to improve consistency, compliance, and operational efficiency, while still remaining technically hands-on where required.
This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced electrician with formal management training or qualifications who wants to move into a leadership role within a growing multi-service contractor.
What You'll Do
* Support and lead electrical operations across FM, reactive, PPM and project works
* Manage, mentor and coordinate electrical engineers and subcontractors
* Assist with workload planning, resource allocation and delivery programming
* Oversee quality, compliance, testing and certification standards
* Provide technical leadership on EICRs, diagnostics and remedial works
* Improve processes, documentation and QA across the electrical function
* Work closely with mechanical & electrical senior management teams on delivery and improvement initiatives
* Support recruitment, onboarding and development of engineers
* Participate in and help manage the on-call rota
What We're Looking For
* 18th Edition (BS7671)
* NVQ Level 3 + AM2 / ECS Gold Card
* 2391 / 2394 & 2395 (Inspection & Testing) – strongly preferred
* SSSTS or SMSTS
* Proven experience in FM maintenance and residential/commercial environments
* Experience in supervising or managing engineers and workloads
* Strong organisational, communication and leadership skills
* Commercial awareness and a structured, process-driven approach
* Full UK driving licence
