Job Description:

Job Summary: We are looking for a Maintenance Manager to join the Airbus team at our Belfast facility. As part of the Facilities Management and Real Estate organization, you will lead Technical Facility Services to achieve operational and strategic objectives, ensuring full compliance with regulations. You will oversee governance, operations, and maintenance of workspace and infrastructure, managing suppliers for compliance and financial targets. Additionally, you will align the site organization with other UK and transnational sites and ensure delivery of tenant obligations.
Responsibilities:
1. Define strategy and policy for all maintenance activities (Electrical, Mechanical, Fire, Fabric, Cranes), ensuring continuous improvement through data analysis.
2. Manage asset delivery, including a 5-year investment plan aligned with Airbus sustainability goals.
3. Maintain good relationships with internal customers, understanding their needs, managing demand, and overseeing supplier performance.
4. Ensure facilities, infrastructure, and technical equipment are maintained to provide a safe environment, support business continuity, and retain property value, including energy and water efficiency initiatives.
5. Manage statutory inspections and ensure site compliance with legal requirements.
6. Manage suppliers through SLAs and KPIs, ensuring governance and regulation adherence.
7. Oversee financial management, budgeting, and risk/opportunity management.
8. Ensure adherence to Airbus Health and Safety protocols.
9. Implement cost-saving initiatives through business transformation, supplier management, and technology adoption.
10. Develop and refine the FMRE specification.
11. Coordinate, tender, and deliver minor projects (up to £85K).
12. Ensure all tasks within CMMS/CAFM systems are completed accurately.
Candidate Profile:
* Mechanical and Electrical knowledge.
* Understanding of financial management, budgets, and investments.
* Knowledge of building and maintenance regulations.
* Facility maintenance and operations management experience.
* Partner and subcontractor management skills.
* Fundamental project management skills.
* Sustainability principles knowledge.
