We are looking to recruit a surveyor to join our Commercial team based in our Derby Office reporting to the Commercial Manager
The successful candidate will have experience of surveying work in housebuilding, associated procedures and practices including subcontract procurement, valuation of subcontractor payment applications, negotiation of final accounts and preparation of monthly cost reports. The candidate will be responsible for running a number of developments across the region working cohesively with the land, technical, construction and sales teams respectively. You will also assist in maintaining the regions portfolio house type cost database used for future land acquisitions.
The role will be based out of our East Midlands office, so being commutable to Derby is essential
Experience of working for a house building organisation or the wider construction sector is essential. A recognised surveying qualification either HNC or HND would be desirable.
