# Damp and Mould Operative## Job IntroductionUp to **£32,670.74 per year** for a **37.5-hour week**, plus opportunities for overtime.As a Damp and Mould Multiskilled Operative, you’ll:* Carry out **first inspections and triage** of damp and mould issues in customer homes.* Conduct **accurate root cause analysis**, applying appropriate treatment solutions and completing repairs.* Perform**multi-trade repairs works** including joinery, plastering, basic plumbing, decorating, and general property maintenance.* Use smart devices to **record visit outcomes**, log customer queries, and ensure accurate reporting.* Provide **empathetic advice** to customers on managing and preventing damp and mould.* Escalate complex cases to surveyors or other specialists when needed.* Work flexibly across the region and participate in a **call-out rota** (with advance notice).We’re looking for experienced tradespeople who have a solid background in repairs and maintenance, ideally within social housing. You’ll be confident working across multiple trades and able to carry out tasks independently to a high standard. Experience and knowledge of damp and mould is highly valued, and you’ll be comfortable using tablets and basic IT tools to manage tasks and communicate effectively.
