To engage with the local community and relevant agencies to identify eligible participants for the Rise2Thrive/Multiply projects.

To provide tailored support via SMART targets to enable eligible participants to overcome barriers that prevent them from progressing towards employment, training, education, and wellbeing improvement.

To manage a caseload, handle administration, and work closely with the Projects Team Leader to maximize project income and outputs.

Special Conditions

This post is subject to a 6-month probationary period, after which it will become permanent. A full enhanced disclosure check via the Disclosure & Barring Service is required. This is a fixed-term role until 31st March 2026, with extension dependent on funding.

Key Duties

This job description is a guide and may change in line with the College's strategic direction.

* Perform skills analysis to identify skills gaps in employability, literacy, numeracy, and digital skills.
* Be knowledgeable about additional support services and link participants to these services.
* Support the Project Team Leader in developing strategies for disadvantaged and underrepresented groups.
* Develop and maintain community relationships to promote engagement.
* Create delivery solutions to maximise project outcomes.
* Facilitate connections with community agencies and organise inclusive events.
* Network with partnerships and local agencies.
* Meet recruitment and income targets for the projects.
* Support operational delivery and manage enrolments.
* Represent the College in external meetings.
* Adhere to equality, diversity, and safeguarding policies.
* Participate in appraisal and professional development.
* Perform any other duties as reasonably requested.

Person Specific

The successful candidate will meet all essential requirements and some desirable ones.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

* Experience working in the local community and developing learning initiatives.
* Experience working with individuals or groups.
* Maintaining accurate records and producing reports.
* Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, planning, and organisational skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and independently towards targets.
* Experience engaging hard-to-reach learners.
* Computer literacy, including spreadsheets and databases, supported by an IT qualification.
* Access to insured vehicle and a clean driving licence.
* Willingness to travel within West and North Yorkshire.

DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS

* Educated to Level 3 or equivalent.
* Experience with funder record-keeping and community learning initiatives.
* Understanding of the Adult Education sector and FE funding.
