Job Purpose
As a Product Specialist, you will play a vital role in the technical pre-sales process by providing expert support to the UK sales team and customers. Your focus will be on conducting on-site assessments, delivering tailored product demonstrations, and ensuring that each customer receives the right solution for their specific application. This is a hands-on, field-based role requiring strong technical knowledge and a customer-first approach.
Key Responsibilities
· Conduct on-site customer evaluations to assess material handling challenges and recommend suitable MasterMover solutions.
· Deliver professional on-site and virtual product demonstrations, tailored to the customer's operational environment.
· Support the configuration and adaptation of products to meet individual customer requirements.
· Provide hands-on product support during and after installation, ensuring equipment performs as expected.
· Train end users and internal teams on product usage, safety, and maintenance best practices.
· Maintain accurate records of site visits, demonstration outcomes, and customer feedback to support sales and product development.
· Collaborate closely with the sales, engineering, and product teams to support solution delivery and future product innovation.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
· Experience in a Product Specialist, Technical Sales, Applications Engineer, or similar role within a technical or industrial environment.
· Strong mechanical or electrical aptitude and the ability to learn complex product systems.
· Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to engage confidently with a range of stakeholders.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify the best-fit product solutions.
· Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly across the UK.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
· Technical qualification (e.g., HNC/HND, NVQ Level 3) in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
· Experience working with configurable equipment or within the material handling sector.
· Familiarity with warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics environments.
