Programme Manager
Hybrid - York (2-3 days onsite)
Salary: Up to £63,000 + benefits
A fantastic opportunity is available for an experienced Programme Manager to join a purpose-driven organisation delivering innovation and transformation programmes with real-world impact.
Reporting to the Head of Programme Management, you will take end-to-end accountability for the successful delivery of complex programmes and associated projects, ensuring strategic objectives are translated into effective execution, governance, and measurable outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading programmes from mobilisation through to delivery and closure
* Managing programme governance, reporting, risks, dependencies, and budgets
* Coordinating multiple project workstreams within a Matrix environment
* Engaging senior stakeholders, boards, and delivery teams
* Overseeing suppliers, contracts, and Statements of Work
* Driving continuous improvement, lessons learned, and outcome-focused delivery
Key experience required:
1. Proven experience delivering complex multi-workstream programmes
2. Strong governance, RAID, and stakeholder management expertise
3. Programme management qualifications such as MSP, PRINCE2, or APM
4. Financial management and budget oversight experience
