Responsibilities Include:
* Day-to-day management of PR account executives on allocated accounts.
* Weekly catch-up meetings on allocated accounts.
* Client communication and management of allocated accounts.
* Liaising with the media and clients daily.
* Distributing press releases, features, comments, etc.
* Handling data collection and analysis for campaigns.
* Monitoring client coverage.
* Attending client meetings when required.
* Event attendance when required.
* Biweekly team meetings and account updates.
* Writing campaign copy, press releases, features, awards submissions, and general copy.
* Assisting the account director/senior account manager with client reporting procedures.
* Providing regular updates to management on daily work.
* Mentoring staff members if required.
* General assistance to the senior team.
Preferred Experience and Skills:
* At least 1+ years experience managing PR client accounts or campaigns within an internal marketing team.
* Strong content writing skills for blogs, press releases, outreach emails, with attention to detail.
* Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills.
* Self-motivated with a drive to create opportunities for clients.
* Ability to understand a client’s specialty area deeply.
* Knowledge of the media landscape and industry trends.
* Journalistic mindset to predict audience preferences.
* Proactive approach to client opportunities.
* Willingness to embrace new challenges and operate in fast-paced environments.
