Salary: £40,000-£45,000 (DOE) + overtime + on call payments + benefits.

Job Summary:
The role involves planned engineering, breakdown repair, and maintenance support for packaging and product control systems. You'll play a vital role in maintaining a safe working environment and preventing contaminants, while adhering to regulatory standards.
Maintenance Engineer Key Responsibilities:
Execute tasks outlined in the Planned Preventative Maintenance schedule (PPM) efficiently, using in-house scheduling systems.
Quickly respond to breakdowns, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and resolve issues promptly.
Address safety concerns and report hazards promptly, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Proactively identify and mitigate risks, contributing to continuous improvement efforts.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to schedule and plan maintenance activities effectively.
Maintenance Engineer Qualifications and Skills:
Proficient in English for safety and communication purposes.
18th Edition electrical safety qualification.
Familiarity with relevant equipment and tools.
Strong commitment to promoting safety standards.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook), with CAD knowledge as a plus.
Equipment Expertise:
Ice Packaging Equipment: Electrical, Hydraulic, Metal Detection.
Air Compressor Systems.
Water Intake: Basic plumbing.
Electrical Engineering: Lighting, Electric supply, Testing, Monitoring, PAT testing.
Administrative Duties:
Timely completion and submission of maintenance records, purchase orders, and correspondence with suppliers.
Compliance with planned maintenance processes and documentation via SHIRE system.
Adherence to maintenance schedules and diary management.
Health & Safety:
Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical safety.
Commitment to maintaining BRC operating procedures.
Other Duties:
Maintain cleanliness of work environment as per procedures.
Attend relevant training courses for skill enhancement.
Report any faults or hazards promptly.
