Overview
We are looking for an experienced, highly skilled SIA Licensed Security Supervisor in Northampton to oversee the performance and upkeep of the security function on one of our client sites. You will manage the day-to-day activities of your team and ensure colleagues adhere to duties with a high level of professionalism and security presence. You will work 52 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Start/finish times are to be confirmed.

What you will need
* Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus.
* A valid SIA Front-Line License - essential.
* A valid SIA CCTV License - preferred.
* Confidence and ability to establish and maintain good working relationships at all levels.
* Ability to work to deadlines, multitask, and work under pressure.
* Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Office packages (e.g. Excel).
* Full UK Driving Licence
* Able to achieve vetting to BS7858 Standards
What you will do
* Supervise daily security team operations, ensuring the team fulfills their daily tasks and adheres to Assignment Instructions and Corps Security policies.
* Monitor surveillance and alarm systems and respond to security breaches/incidents, ensuring escalation processes are followed.
* Lead, manage and motivate direct reports including goal setting, performance reviews, appraisals, coaching and development training, and monitor attendance/timekeeping.
* Submit necessary reports and performance documentation to the appropriate departments in a timely and accurate manner.
* Monitor staff and contractor activities on site, including control of contractors, recording of method statements and risk assessments.
* Liaise with law enforcement, emergency services, and relevant stakeholders during emergencies.
* Regularly inspect security equipment (e.g., CCTV, Access Control, Alarms) and ensure proper functioning and upkeep.
* Investigate security incidents, accidents, and breaches, preparing comprehensive reports with improvement recommendations.
* Support attainment of Corps Security KPIs and assist with investigations of apparent non-conformance.
* Stay up to date with security trends, technologies, and regulations, providing recommendations for system and procedural improvements.
* Ad-hoc duties as required.
