Field Service Engineer - *Must have a full UK Driving License*\n\n£25,000 - 6 month Fixed-Term Contract\n\nPotential of extension, plus temp-to-perm opportunities\n\nLocation: ZSouth London / Croydon\n\nShift Patterns: 6 days on, 3 days off \n\n*Shifts are alternated*\n\nEarly shift: 7am- 4pm, or late shift: 11am - 8pm\n\nJOB DESCRIPTION\n\nOur client, a leading provider of point of sale, payment and loyalty solutions in the retail and forecourt markets, is looking for Field Service Engineers to join their growing teams. They provide a range of products and solutions to their customers which help them to increase profits through increasing basket size, customer loyalty and footfall, serving customers more efficiently and cost-effectively.\n\nThey design, build, install, and support systems in over 5000 retail sites - processing over 20 billion transactions each year through their data centres.\n\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\n\nAttending maintenance visits as required\nResponding to all calls within the required service level agreement (per call)\nResponsible for asset management\nProviding accurate and timely call closure and stock reporting\nAttending proactive maintenance, basic installation and joints visits as scheduled by Operations Team\nCompleting all engineering paperwork REQUIREMENTS:\n\nFull UK driving license\nExcellent communication skills\nExcellent organisational skills\nBasic technical aptitude\nAbility to work under pressure\nPrevious experience in a field role (can be IT, telecoms etc) DESIRABLE SKILLS BUT NOT ESSENTIAL\n\nSPA Passport\nService delivery experience ESSENTIAL SKILLS\n\nFull UK Driving License\nPrevious experience in similar role
