12th June, 2026 CNC Machinist - Cheadle (ST10) Pay: From £14.00 -£16.00 per hour dependent upon experience Contract: Permanent Hours: Day shift, 8:00am start with early finish on Fridays Hunters 4 Staff are supporting a small, successful, and very busy engineering company in Cheadle. They're looking for ideally an experienced CNC Machinist to join the team and operate Fanuc‑controlled milling and turning machines, potential to consider a trainee. The role Operating Fanuc‑controlled CNC milling and turning machines Setting and adjusting tooling to achieve accurate results - Not essential Reading and working from technical drawings - Not essential Carrying out basic machine maintenance and quality checks Supporting production to keep work flowing smoothly What we're looking for Previous CNC machining experience (milling or turning) Confident with Fanuc controls Able to read engineering drawings - Not essential Strong attention to detail and pride in your work Reliable, organised, and happy working as part of a small team Benefits Weekly pay Early Friday finish Permanent role with stability On‑site parking Support from a friendly, straightforward recruitment team This role is ideal if you live near Cheadle, Leek, Uttoxeter, Stoke‑on‑Trent or surrounding areas, and have experience as a CNC Machinist, Setter/Operator, or similar.
