We are recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils within a specialist education setting in Rugby. This role would suit someone who is empathetic, resilient, and motivated by making a meaningful difference to children who require additional support.
The setting supports pupils with a range of needs, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, andmunication difficulties, and provides a highly structured, relationship‑led environment with strong staff support.
Your new role
1. Providing 1:1 and small‑group support tailored to individual pupil needs
2. Supporting learning, emotional regulation, and daily routines
3. Encouraging positive behaviour, engagement, and independence
4. Working closely with teachers and support staff to maintain consistency
5. Supporting with personal care when required
What you'll need to succeed
6. Teaching Assistants with SEN experience
7. Support workers or care staff looking to move into education
8. Individuals with experience in children’s homes, supported living, or youth support
9. Candidates with a calm, patient, and adaptable approach
Previous school experience is weed but not essential - transferable experience from care or support settings is highly valued.
