Job Description:
Our client, a large public sector organization based in Newry, is looking for an Administrative Officer to join their team.
Duration: Up to 52 weeks
Rate of pay: £12.59
Location: Newry
Hours: 37 hours per week, with AWP 08:00 – 20:00 on a rota basis
Main Duties:
Responsibilities include working as a Case Manager within the Newry Service Centre for Universal Credit. The role involves managing digital accounts for claimants, ensuring all actions and 'To-Do' items are completed promptly and accurately, and managing cases throughout the claim process. The role requires communication with claimants and colleagues via various channels, including daily telephony. The focus is on delivering a high-quality, whole-case approach, actively managing all actions with minimal handoffs. The role also involves contributing to continuous improvement of the Universal Credit service and processes. As automation increases, the job content may evolve. Please note, full attendance at a 17-day mandatory training course is required, with the first day face-to-face (venue to be confirmed) and the remaining days virtual from the Newry Service Centre. No leave is permitted during training.
Qualifications include:
* 5 GCSEs A-C, including Maths and English
