Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
* Job Type: Full-time
* Working Hours: Mon-Fri 08:30 - 16:00
* Location: Sutton
* Salary: £90-£100 Day Rate
We are actively seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking HLTA to join a dedicated team. In this role you will provide support to pupils across the school, with a focus on those who may present with challenging behaviour and complex needs.
Day to Day of the role:
* Delivering targeted interventions to individuals or small groups to support their learning and emotional needs.
* Working collaboratively with teachers to plan and coordinate support activities.
* Monitoring and reporting on the progress of pupils, adapting strategies as needed to facilitate optimal learning outcomes.
* Contributing to the creation of a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
* Assisting in the development and implementation of Educational Health Care Plans (EHCP).
* Participating in training and development sessions to enhance personal skills and support school initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* GCSE Grade C/4 or above in Maths and English (O’ Levels accepted) and a good standard of education across a range of subjects.
* Meeting the HLTA Standard or equivalent qualifications or experience.
* Working knowledge of the national curriculum and other relevant learning programs.
* Full understanding of relevant policies, codes of practice, and legislation.
* A passion for delivering outstanding provision for young people and a commitment to child-centred learning.
