As part of our world-class, performance-focused team you’ll be operating extrusion machinery and making agricultural film. Working 12 hour shifts of 2 days, 2 nights and then 4 shifts off, working safely and ensuring the best quality product is produced Always working safely in line with our site safety procedures and safe systems of work Reporting all hazardous machinery, equipment and situations Maintaining our housekeeping standards and reporting any situations where you’re prevented from keeping these standards high Ensuring our product meets its prescribed blend and line conditions and hits our high-quality standards Reporting any non-conforming product to the relevant colleagues Monitoring and managing the output rate, utilisation and scrap level of your line Assisting other lines when required Setting a good example, especially to new employees; showing a positive attitude about your role, co-workers and Amcor. Works well within a team and communicates clearly with co-workers Reliable when working unsupervised Adaptable to change and new approaches to work Comfortable giving feedback to team leaders about ways of working Able to identify and suggest improvements Well organised, forward thinking and able to plan; capable of running more than one line Thorough when completing tasks Understanding of site policies and procedures; good attitude towards Health and Safety Positive team player Experience of working in manufacturing processing welcomed, but not essential Comfortable with shift work, which includes both day and night working.
