Responsibilities
* Assist in creating and maintaining detailed daily, weekly and monthly production schedules.
* Analyze demand forecasts and inventory data to plan material and production requirements.
* Monitor production progress and adjust schedules to resolve conflicts or delays.
* Communicate with internal departments to coordinate planning activities.
* Track material availability and escalate supply issues that may impact production.
* Support continuous improvement efforts to streamline planning and scheduling processes.
* Generate and maintain reports related to production performance, inventory status and schedule adherence.
* Ensure accurate data entry into ERP or MRP systems.
* Participate in meetings to review production performance and capacity planning.
Required Skills & Qualifications
* High School Diploma or GED required.
* Associate’s degree in supply chain, Operations Management or related field (Bachelor’s preferred).
* 1-3 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or a manufacturing support role in a manufacturing or production environment required.
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel, experience with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) preferred.
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
* Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
* Seven plus year experience in manufacturing, quality control or quality engineer required.
* Analytical mindset with problem solving skills and a keen attention to detail.
* Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
