We are looking for a Senior Discount Pricing Modelling Analyst to join a growing analytics team. In this hands on role, you will develop best-in-class discounting models using expert analysis, market insight and innovation.
What you will be doing
* Develop and improve pricing, discounting and forecasting models
* Analyse customer behaviour, pricing activity and market trends
* Build and validate datasets to ensure models are accurate and reliable
* Monitor model performance and recommend improvements
* Present insight and recommendations to senior stakeholders
What we are looking for
* Degree educated in a numerical subject
* Strong understanding of statistical modelling techniques such as GLMs, GBMs or similar
* Strong SQL skills and experience working with large datasets
* Experience with Python, visualisation tools or pricing software would be useful, but is not essential
* Experience within pricing, modelling, analytics or commercial strategy in financial services, insurance, banking or a similar environment
* Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills
