Job Summary
As a field-based Account Manager, you will focus on customers to achieve revenue, margin, and growth goals assigned accounts. You will identify customer needs and apply the company’s value proposition to drive sales growth and improved profitability. You will develop strategic relationships, align customer and business goals, and proactively acquire new customers to help achieve growth ambitions. This role requires significant travel across the South of the UK and weekly presence in either the Maidenhead or Stevenage office.

Responsibilities
* Primary point of contact for the customer interface, supporting high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
* Drive demand creation activity within the account base.
* Develop strong, strategic relationships with customers to align their business goals, growth strategies, and profit drivers with the appropriate business value proposition.
* Engage customers in joint planning that integrates the company’s services, programs and supplier partnerships to secure commitment for comprehensive investments.
* Conduct regular business reviews with assigned accounts and key suppliers to track progress toward revenue and growth goals and own execution of the business plan.
* Maintain and monitor pipeline and KPIs for assigned customers, perform analysis and identify improvement opportunities.
* Support supplier strategies by aligning solutions with customers to maximize profitable growth and customer expansion.
Job Level Specifications
* Demonstrates a sound understanding of the distribution market, account management, demand creation, and supply chain processes.
* Expanded knowledge of the semiconductor industry, design process, and cycles.
* Works with OEM and design authorities to support their engineering ambitions.
* Collaborates with customers, internal teams, managers, and support functions, maintaining regular face‑to‑face interaction.
Qualifications
* Minimum 3+ years of experience with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
* Proven track record in closing business opportunities and achieving demand‑creation sales goals.
* Develops long‑term, multi‑level relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
* Design‑in mindset – understands block diagrams and works with customer engineers and product management teams.
* Strategic thinker who is proactive, plans activities effectively, and is organized and disciplined.
* Delivers on promises, takes ownership, and is a trusted partner to customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
* Curious about new trends, products, technologies, and tools, adaptable and willing to explore new ideas to achieve goals.
