About the Role
HC-One is looking for enthusiastic and committed Care Assistants to join its Flex Force team. Flex Force offers contracted hours with guaranteed set pay each month and the freedom to choose shifts that fit around your family life or other commitments. Shifts run Monday to Sunday and may be consecutive or not, including days, nights and weekends.
The role involves travelling between a cluster of homes.
Locations
Homes include Annfield House (FK8 2BJ), Barleystone (FK2 9RY), Fairview (FK7 8JW), Forth Bank (FK8 1RR) and Kinnaird Manor (FK1 4QF).
Duties
* Supporting residents with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene, dressing and assisting with meals.
* Helping residents with limited mobility.
* Taking responsibility for the wellbeing of residents on and off site.
* Providing emotional and practical support for residents in respite and palliative care and participating in general activities within the home.
Qualifications and Skills
* Capability to work safely and reliably across multiple sites.
* A driver’s licence improves eligibility but is not essential.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to recognise signs of possible abuse, harm or neglect and knowledge of reporting procedures.
* All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training appropriate to their role.
