Fixed term contract/secondment opportunity for 12 months.
This is an exciting opportunity to step into the role of Care Group HR Business Partner. You will join the HR Business Partner Team to provide crucial support as maternity cover and work with senior leaders and managers across the hospital to provide strategic HR guidance, ensure best-practice people management, and help create a positive, inclusive and high-performance culture. Care Group HR Business Partners support Trust-wide strategic improvement actions and monitor workforce KPIs.
Responsibilities
* Provide strategic HR guidance to senior leaders and managers within the Care Group in collaboration with Strategic HR Business Partners.
* Identify, interpret and analyse complex information to identify trends and evidence improvements.
* Support Care Groups with achieving and tracking workforce KPIs as required by the internal Business Planning process.
* Support Care Groups with governance compliance and HR processes.
* Lead or participate in projects and working groups as needed, engaging with Trade Union colleagues on change programmes (e.g., TUPE).
* Work closely with the Central HR team to ensure appropriate HR support for the Care Groups.
* Provide guidance to Care Groups and Departments on complex disciplinary, grievance, sickness, capability, recruitment and selection, equal opportunities and employment law, promoting a culture of delivery through empowering managers to know their staff and align with PRIDE values.
* Provide support and guidance in managing complex employee relations cases, considering current case law.
* Identify training and development needs within Care Groups and Departments and design or source training solutions related to HR policies and issues.
* Promote effective planning and utilization of staffing resources within Care Groups and Directorates, including reviews of structures and skill mix.
Qualifications
* CIPD Level 7, or equivalent experience, with a background as an HR specialist in a larger, complex and unionised organisation.
* Evidence knowledge of good practice developments in Human Resources Management and the ability to apply these with organisational values.

* Working closely with the Strategic HR Business Partner (S-HRBP) and Care Group Managers in implementing the Trust’s HR Strategy
* To take a lead role and represent the Trust as required to ensure local delivery in relation to national, regional and local planning requirements and performance monitoring
* Support Care Groups with achieving and tracking workforce KPIs as required by internal processes
* To provide HR support to Care Groups in complying with the Trust’s governance arrangements
* Involvement in and leadership of projects and working groups as needed, with TUPE and other change programmes
* Collaborate with the Central HR team to ensure appropriate HR support for the Care Groups
* Provide guidance and monitor the application of HR procedures across Care Groups and Departments
