Location: The Blue Sky SARC, Nuneaton, Warwickshire and additional SARC locations in the Midlands region.
Bank Role
Salary : The payment rates for this role are a shift retainer of £30.56 Monday - Friday and £40.24 Saturday - Sunday, attendance payment of £15.85 per hour for a minimum of 3 hours per case.
Rota Patterns : 8 hour shifts over 24 hours, 365 days a year.
Flexible contract to cover 1am-9am, 9am-5pm, 5pm-1am over a 24/7 roster.
Main duties of the job
Key Responsibilities will include:
* 1st point of contact for service users.
* Support process of an service users and their family visiting the centre, including preparing the patient and assisting in the collecting of forensic evidence.
* Ensuring that a high standard of DNA anticontamination is maintained between forensic cases (cleaning).
* Assisting patients and liaising with other agencies regarding the management of the service user pathway.
* Assisting with preparation, service user support and acting as an advocate during their time at the SARC.
* Be a key player within the SARC team and wider company network.

The role of Crisis Worker is critical in providing victims of sexual assault with the dedicated support and care required.

* Advanced DBS and level 2 Police vetting will be required.
* GCSE English and Maths (Equivalent Grade C Level).
* Knowledge of the Health, Police and / or public sector working.
* Organisational Skills.
* Ability to work in a multi‑agency setting.
* Good Interpersonal Skills.
Desirable Skills Required
* Educated to A - Level / NVQ 3.
* Experience working with children or young people, either directly or in collaboration with partner services.
* Understanding of Safeguarding.
