About The Cathedral School, Cardiff's leading independent school for girls and boys, is seeking to appoint a dedicated and passionate Teacher of Mathematics/Second in Mathematics Faculty, to join the team on a full-time basis from September 2026. This is a permanent position. The successful candidate will be required to teach Mathematics at all levels throughout the Senior school; from Key Stage 3 through to GCSE and A Level. They will also take on the role of a form tutor; registering the pupils each morning and leading tutor/PHME sessions with their tutees. The ability to teach Further Maths and to prepare students for university admissions tests is desirable but is not essential. Applications are welcome from recently qualified and more experienced teachers, and from the independent or state sectors.
