Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic PE Teacher to work in secondary schools in Wellingborough and the surrounding areas. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified teacher looking for flexible supply work, long-term placements, or a pathway to a permanent position.
About the role
You will be delivering engaging Physical Education lessons across KS3 and KS4, supporting students of varying abilities while promoting participation, teamwork, and a positive attitude towards sport and fitness. Roles may include day-to-day supply, long-term cover, or full-time positions depending on your availability.
Key responsibilities
1. Plan and deliver high-quality PE lessons
2. Organise and supervise practical sports activities
3. Maintain strong classroom and behaviour management
4. Ensure health and safety procedures are followed at all times
5. Contribute to extracurricular sport where required
6. Follow school policies and procedures
Requirements
7. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
8. Experience teaching PE at secondary level
9. Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
10. Flexible, reliable, and professional approach
11. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
