Master Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester Required in Farnham
1. Location: Farnham, Surrey
2. Salary: £45,000 Basic + Performance Bonus (£6,000 - £12,000 per year) + Overtime (£22 per hour for Saturdays, 1 in 4 rota)
3. Working Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with 1 in 4 Saturdays on a rota

As a Master Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality vehicle maintenance and repair services.
Your responsibilities will include:
4. Servicing and Repairs: Conduct routine maintenance, including oil changes, brake repairs, and engine servicing, ensuring all work meets manufacturer and industry standards.
5. Diagnostic Expertise: Utilise state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues efficiently.
6. MOT Testing: Perform MOT tests in compliance with DVSA regulations, ensuring vehicles meet safety and environmental standards.
7. Bespoke Upgrades and Conversions: Execute custom modifications, such as performance enhancements, suspension upgrades, and aesthetic improvements, tailored to customer specifications.
8. Team Collaboration: Work closely with a skilled team of technicians, sharing expertise and ensuring all jobs are completed to the highest quality and within agreed timelines.
9. Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with customers to explain technical issues, recommend solutions, and ensure complete satisfaction with the service provided.
10. Workshop Efficiency: Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations and best practices.
To succeed in this role, you should bring:
11. Qualifications: A Level 3 NVQ or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair. A valid MOT Tester certification (Class 4 and 7) is highly desirable.
12. Experience: Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician, with a strong background in diagnostics, repairs, and servicing across a range of vehicle makes and models.
13. Technical Skills: Proficiency in using advanced diagnostic tools and software, with a solid understanding of modern vehicle systems, including hybrid and electric vehicles.
14. Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to work, ensuring all tasks are completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
15. Team Player: Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and contribute to a positive workshop environment.
