A leading digital transformation consultancy is seeking a high-performing Senior Sales Hunter to drive growth in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) sector across the UK and Ireland. This is a pivotal, senior leadership role for someone with the vision, energy, and experience to open doors, land strategic accounts, and eventually build out a sales team.
About the Role
You’ll join as a senior individual contributor, responsible for generating new business within the CPG sector. As the commercial footprint grows, so will your role—ultimately evolving into a sales leadership position with responsibility for growing and managing a team.
While your core focus will be new client acquisition, you may also take ownership of one or two existing strategic accounts, driving additional value through targeted farming.
* Drive new business by identifying, targeting, and winning CPG clients across the UK&I
* Lead the end-to-end sales cycle, from prospecting to contract negotiation
* Work cross-functionally with presales, marketing, and delivery to develop compelling client proposals
* Manage and grow select existing key accounts, uncovering upsell and cross-sell opportunities
* Contribute to go-to-market strategy and future sales team design
* Represent the company at industry events, networking opportunities, and client engagements
* Proven track record of selling digital or IT services into the CPG or FMCG sector
* Strong understanding of the UK&I CPG landscape, with an active network of decision-makers
* Comfortable operating at a senior level (C-suite, Directors, etc.)
* Skilled at opening new doors and building long-term strategic relationships
* Able to work independently in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment
* Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to shape and lead a high-performing sales function
* Experience managing or farming existing accounts is a plus
