We are looking for a Loan Agency Analyst based in Manchester to work within Santander’s Corporate and Commercial Banking (CCB) area, delivering best‑in‑class agency service on larger, complex lending transactions.
Responsibilities
* Learn complex lending products, processes, and various lending platforms on the job.
* Deliver excellent customer service to a wide range of external customers as part of a diverse team of lending experts.
* Report to a Team Manager within Lending Services as part of the line management structure.
* Provide invaluable support to internal stakeholders such as Relationship teams, Finance and Control, and others on a daily basis.
* Ensure strict adherence to all internal policies and procedures for our lending products.
* Innovate to improve customer and colleague experience.
Qualifications
Professional Experience
* Experience in syndicated lending (Required)
* Experience working in an operational area within a bank (Required)
Education
* Degree in finance or economics (Preferred)
* Professional qualification from the Chartered Banker Institute or similar (Preferred)
Hard Skills
* Advanced skills in Excel (Preferred)
* Knowledge of complex lending products (Preferred)
* Evidence of dealing with a range of stakeholders and customers (Required)
* Evidence of mathematical ability through experience or education (Required)
Soft Skills
* Communication, both written and verbal (Required)

* Salary Range: £35,452.00 – £53,178.00 per annum, depending on experience.
