Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Physical Education Teacher to work within a Pupil Referral Unit and inspire students to develop their physical skills, promote healthy lifestyles, and foster teamwork. The successful candidate will deliver engaging lessons that encourage participation and enjoyment of sports and physical activities. Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver comprehensive physical education lessons tailored to different age groups and abilities
* Organise sports activities, games, and fitness programmes that promote physical health and teamwork
* Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to support individual improvement
* Implement behaviour management strategies to ensure a safe and respectful learning environment
* Foster a positive attitude towards physical activity and healthy living among students
* Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding student progress and behavioural concerns
* Developing positive relationships with students.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in teaching physical education or sports coaching is desirable
* Strong understanding of behaviour management techniques in an educational setting
* Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
* Organised with the ability to plan engaging lessons that cater to diverse student needs
* Demonstrated ability to motivate students and foster teamwork through sports and activities
* Relevant teaching qualification or certification in physical education or related field is preferred
* Ability to work collaboratively within a school community dedicated to student development

Pay: £110.00-£150.00 per day
