The post holder provides technical and general support to the Fleet Department and its activities and operations, dealing with manufactures and suppliers on technical issues.
Main duties of the job
The post holder is responsible for co-ordinating the authorisation process with contracted garages/ body shops, Trust workshops, and lease companies, monitoring work carried out, charges and service delivery, and for dealing with any related problems.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Qualifications and/or Knowledge
* NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration or equivalent qualification plus additional knowledge of financial procedures/contract law to Diploma Level obtained through formal qualifications (e.g. CIPS) and/or equivalent experience; or equivalent level of experience within a Business Admin/Procurement environment.
* General understanding of contracts management
* Willingness to undertake appropriate training to enhance knowledge of specialised equipment and technical procedures to ensure value for money and support compliance with cost improvement initiatives
* Sound knowledge of workshop and garage technical operations
* Detailed technical knowledge of vehicle and mechanical fitting practices and procedures
Experience
* Experience of using financial systems such as Oracle for the ordering of supplies
* Experience of using Microsoft office packages i.e. teams, word, excel, powerpoint and outlook
* Experience of working within a demanding environment with competing priorities and workloads
* Experience of liaising with customer and service users, crossing organisational boundaries
* Experience of business administrative practices relating to workshops and garages
