Job summary
We are looking for an experienced and reliable MHE operator that holds either VNA, PPT or CBT licences to join our Warehousing and Logistics team. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods within our warehouse, contributing to the high standards our clients expect from Iron Mountain.
Your role in our mission:
1. Operating VNA, PPT or CBT forklifts safely and efficiently to handle and store goods.
2. Moving and stacking pallets within narrow aisles to maximise storage capacity.
3. Conducting daily checks and basic maintenance of equipment to ensure it remains in good working condition.
4. Utilise pick lists to accurately locate and pick items from designated warehouse locations.
5. Pack items securely and efficiently for shipment, ensuring proper packaging and labeling.
6. Assisting with general warehouse tasks, including stock counts and inventory management.
7. Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
8. Collaborating with colleagues to meet operational targets and deadlines.
Valued skills and experience:
9. A valid VNA, PPT or CBT forklift licence and proven experience operating MHE equipment.
10. Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
11. A strong understanding of health and safety practices within a warehouse setting.
12. Attention to detail and a focus on accuracy.
13. The ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required.
14. Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings or weekends, as needed.
