Applications are invited from enthusiastic and highly motivated clinical nurses to join our team as a Macmillan-funded Spinal Nurse Practitioner.
This new role offers the postholder the opportunity to develop care for patients with spinal care needs through expert clinical leadership, education, and training for the multidisciplinary team.
We are keen to hear from enthusiastic cancer clinical nurse specialists interested in improving the management of patients with specific spinal care requirements, such as Metastatic Spinal Cord Compression.
We are looking for a highly motivated nurse with cancer experience to lead the development of expert care for patients with spinal needs. Skills and qualities required include:
* Excellent communication skills with patients and staff
* Ability to develop strong relationships with the multidisciplinary team, including medics, nurses, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists
* Develop links with community services to ensure consistent service delivery
* Deliver complex information clearly and sensitively to patients
* Provide bespoke training sessions and bedside teaching for the multidisciplinary team
