National Sales Manager for NSS Group
Location: Flexible – frequent national travel required
Salary:£45,000 - £50,000 + £6,000 car allowance

The Business
NSS Group is a specialist services supplier with Platinum accreditation from Investors in People. We provide building maintenance, window and technical cleaning, platform hire, and equipment testing across the UK. Formed by the merger of several successful businesses, NSS offers a truly nationwide service.
Your Role - Main Purpose
To deliver new business revenue and profit within a designated territory and/or sector, aligned with the Groups sales and marketing strategy. To develop existing accounts through cross-selling and upselling, achieving targets, and promoting the NSS brand.
Key Responsibilities
1. Generate activity to meet sales targets, focusing on appointments, quotes, and orders.
2. Execute the sales plan to acquire new business across your geography/sector.
3. Create and implement account development strategies with the Group Commercial Director.
4. Complete bids and tender responses with support from sales support teams.
5. Meet or exceed budgets and strategic goals.
6. Identify key decision-makers and support operational teams in managing customer relationships.
7. Prepare and deliver quotations and proposals timely and accurately.
8. Utilize CRM to report on sales activities and pipeline.
9. Promote sales best practices and continuous improvement.
10. Enhance the NSS brand within the industry and marketplace.
11. Present management information to major customers and support operational expectations.
Requirements
* Level A education with strong communication skills.
* Experience in sales and account development, preferably within FM or Property Management sectors.
* Knowledge of the facility services industry or similar complex service solutions.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* Commercial awareness, problem-solving skills, resilience, and results-driven attitude.
* Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively.
* Valid driving license.
* Strong work ethic.
