Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Architectural Technician, based in Derby. The role involves producing technical and construction drawings, utilising CAD and/or Revit software, and contributing to the architectural design process. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality designs that align with project specifications, timelines, and regulations. Additional responsibilities include ensuring compliance with building regulations and assisting in project coordination.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in Architectural Technology and strong understanding of architectural principles
* Experience in producing Technical Drawings and Construction Drawings
* Skilled in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools and software
* Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work as part of a collaborative team
* Familiarity with building codes, regulations, and industry standards
* Bachelor’s degree, diploma, or equivalent qualification in Architectural Technology or a related field
* Experience with residential and/or commercial architectural projects is highly desirable
