Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Edinburgh, is currently looking to recruit a Project Officer for an initial 12 month contract on a rate of £21.03/hour PAYE. This role will be hybrid working with a minimum of two days per week in the office.
All applicants must have the right to work in the UK at the time of application and be resident in the UK.
Responsibilities:
* Produce planning documentation, including project delivery plans, high level plans, summary presentations and dashboards to monitor progress against the plan.
* Maintain the key project logs, including risks, issues, dependencies, assumptions, and lessons learned; provide reports and escalate matters as required.
* Meet with relevant stakeholders and present project information/updates.
* Support the Operations Director and Project Manager by ensuring project compliance with governance processes and procedures, including drafting of relevant papers and reporting.
* Coordinate project assurance activities and planning.
* Draft updates to key project documentation.
